To all LR Net readers, contributors, and friends on the East Coast or the Atlantic shore…be careful! Hurricane Dorian appears to be a genuine threat to life.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Dorian is now the strongest hurricane in recorded history to hit the Northwestern Bahamas. It is expected to roll over the islands and then come up the Atlantic coast of the United States. The exact where, when, and how of landfall remain unclean.

So, if you are in any of the areas affected, please take precautions. Do nothing stupid and take no risks. We need you to get through this.

And afterwards, when Dorian is gone, remember that it was Trump, Republicans, and conservatives who have been saying that climate change is a hoax…even while storms grew more fierce with every passing day.
