Interesting article in The Atlantic this month, “America Is Giving Up on the Pandemic” by Alexis C. Madrigal and Robinson Meyer. The authors look at how the country has largely given up the fight with Covid-19. On the one hand, people can’t endure or can’t afford to continue with the quarantine. On the other, protests are driving large numbers of Americans into the streets.

But this could vastly increase the number of cases in the nation. As the authors note, we may be done with the virus, but ” the virus isn’t done with us.”
