The media’s favorite porn star Stormy Daniels, who is best known for receiving a $130,000 payment from Trump’s attorney to keep her mouth shut about her and Trump’s affair, has provided us with some more information through her attorney. Apparently he released a document on Tuesday detailing how a Russian billionaire made $500,000 payments to a private account maintained by Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.
The document further details how $4.4 million was paid into this account just prior to the 2016 election. They did a good job hiding where the money came from by splitting it up so it looked like the payments were coming from a bunch of foreign and domestic companies and they continued regularly up until earlier this year.
So on top of all of this, the backer providing the money for these payments is “Mr. Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian Oligarch with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin” (ABC News). If this isn’t a smoking gun then I don’t know what is.
