Interesting piece on NPR, “Pandemic Shutdown Is Speeding Up The Collapse Of Coal.” It seems that one small, thin, questionable silver lining of the Covid-19 crisis is that it is accelerating the demise of polluting coal as a fuel. The industries that buy it are shut down for quarantine are using their forced off time to switch to cleaner, cheaper sources of energy.

This is not welcome news to Trump.
