Bravo To Fake Seal Artist

So we still don’t know who really put up that fake presidential seal behind tRump, or why. But we do know who designed the seal. According to the Washington Post, it was Charles Leazott, “…[a]  46-year-old graphic designer threw it together after the 2016 presidential election — it was one part joke, one part catharsis. He used to be a proud Republican.” But then the Orange Chump came along and Leazott knew he was no longer part of the GOP.

The Post quotes him as saying that he doesn’t know who threw the image behind the Trumpster’s Orange Head, but, he admires whoever it was. “Whoever put that up is my absolute hero,” he says.

As an aside, you can buy Leazott’s designs on his website.

Michael Jay Tucker: Michael Jay Tucker is the “sort of volunteer editor” of LR Net. He is also a writer and journalist who has written on topics ranging from the Jazz Age to computers. (Among his small claims to fame is that he interviewed Steve Jobs just after that talented if complicated man got kicked out of Apple, and just before the company’s Board came begging him to come back.)
